HealthRx vs TrimRx

Complete 2026 Comparison for Weight Loss

Weight Loss

Our Verdict

HealthRx starts a compounded GLP-1 at $99 a month on a twelve-month plan, $133 a month on three months, verified as of 2026-08-21. TrimRx starts at $179 a month, verified the same day. TrimRx also lists brand-name Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound and Wegovy, which we hold no prices for, while HealthRx prices compounded medication only. We could not identify the legal entity behind HealthRx when we checked on 2026-08-23; we hold no regulatory notice for either brand.

Pick HealthRx

You want the lowest verified entry price for a compounded GLP-1 and the twelve-month plan does not put you off.

Pick TrimRx

You want the brand-name pens kept on the menu, and a free consultation before any money moves.

HealthRx is $80 a month cheaper at the floor, and $46 cheaper if you take three months instead of twelve. TrimRx is the one that lists brand-name GLP-1 medication alongside compounded, and the one we can tell you more about as a company.

Who This Is For

This is for
  • You want to compare medication options, monthly costs, and state availability across multiple telehealth providers.
  • You prefer reviewing licensed provider programs independently before committing to a subscription.
  • The FDA-approved labeling for Wegovy and Zepbound covers weight reduction in adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, and in adults with a BMI of 27 or higher who have at least one weight-related condition such as type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure. If you are near either number, ask a licensed provider where you fall before choosing a platform.
  • If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, the Wegovy label directs you to stop semaglutide once pregnancy is recognized and two months before a planned pregnancy, so raise it at intake.
  • If you are breastfeeding, ask the provider what the label for the specific medication says, because the labels differ.
  • If you have a history of disordered eating, tell the provider at intake, because it is part of what a prescriber weighs before starting a weight loss medication.
  • If you have had bariatric surgery or are considering it, tell the provider at intake, because it changes what a prescriber will consider.
  • A remote visit cannot include a physical exam or in-office testing. If that matters for your situation, raise it with a licensed provider before choosing a platform.
  • If this is an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Telehealth is not for emergency care.

These notes are not a medical screening: a licensed provider decides after an intake review whether a treatment is appropriate for you.

HealthRx vs TrimRx: the Cheaper GLP-1 Floor Comes Attached to a Twelve-Month Plan

Eric GoldWritten by Eric GoldEditor-in-Chief
8 min readUpdated October 7, 2026

Table of Contents

HealthRx starts lower, and the condition attached to its lowest number is the thing most comparisons leave out. Its compounded GLP-1 begins at $99 a month on a twelve-month plan and $133 a month on a three-month plan. TrimRx begins at $179 a month. So the gap is $80 a month if you commit for a year and $46 a month if you commit for a quarter. The other real difference is what sits on each menu: TrimRx lists brand-name pens alongside its compounded tiers, and HealthRx prices compounded medication only.

The $99 is a twelve-month price, and that changes the gap

HealthRx lists compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide from $99 a month, verified as of 2026-08-21, and its own listing puts a condition on that figure: $99 is the twelve-month plan, and three months runs $133 a month. TrimRx lists compounded semaglutide from $179 a month, verified as of 2026-08-21, with no plan length attached to the figure in our file.
So the honest answer depends on what you are willing to sign. Against the twelve-month HealthRx plan the difference is $80 a month. Against the three-month plan it narrows to $46. Both numbers are floors, meaning the lowest configuration we were able to verify, and the dose you end up prescribed, the formulation and anything billed on top can all sit above them.
TrimRx also prices a second compounded tier. Compounded tirzepatide, which its listing calls GLP-1 plus GIP, starts at $259 a month. HealthRx names tirzepatide inside its $99 listing rather than pricing it on its own, so we cannot tell you what a tirzepatide month costs there. That is a blank in our records, not a claim about the brand.
  • HealthRx weight loss floor: $99/mo on the twelve-month plan, $133/mo on three months, verified as of 2026-08-21
  • TrimRx weight loss floor: $179/mo for compounded semaglutide, verified as of 2026-08-21
  • TrimRx compounded tirzepatide starts at $259/mo

What is in the box, and what the FDA has signed off on

Everything HealthRx prices in weight loss is compounded. A compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide is mixed by a pharmacy to fill a prescription, and it is not FDA-approved as a finished drug product, which means the agency has not reviewed that preparation for safety, effectiveness or quality.
TrimRx carries compounded versions too, and its listing additionally names Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound and Wegovy as available. Those four are manufacturer-made medications, a different class of product from a compounded preparation, and that distinction matters more than any price on this page. We hold no price for any of them at TrimRx, so if a brand-name pen is what you are after, the number you are quoted will not be the $179 floor on this page.
That is the sharpest practical split between these two. One menu is compounded end to end. The other runs a compounded tier and a brand-name tier, with only the compounded tier priced in what we verified.

What each one promises if a provider turns you down

Both put something in writing here, and the wording is not the same. HealthRx says no insurance is needed and offers a full refund if a licensed provider does not approve you. Its weight-loss listing separately names a refund on any dose that has not shipped if you cancel. We quote both because they are two different terms, and neither one refunds medication you have already received.
TrimRx front-loads the step before that. It lists a free two-minute qualification quiz and a free doctor consultation, listed on its record with us as no cost and no obligation, with free tracked shipping once you are approved. The order of events differs: at TrimRx you reach a yes or a no first, where at HealthRx a refund assumes a payment already happened.
HealthRx also displays LegitScript certification seal 50087439, and we checked that seal with LegitScript on 2026-09-19. We hold no equivalent certification record for TrimRx, which is an absence in our file rather than a finding about the company.

The company behind HealthRx, and why we are telling you about it

When we checked on 2026-08-23 we could not identify the legal entity behind HealthRx through public records. The site does not name an operating company, the domain registration is privacy-shielded, and we could not confirm a listing in any business registry or accreditation database we checked. This is not a finding of wrongdoing. It does mean our usual checks, including our search of FDA enforcement records, could only run against the brand name and the domain rather than against a confirmed company.
For TrimRx we hold no regulatory notice at all. The absence of a record in our data is not a clearance and we will not dress it up as one, but we can say plainly that nothing in our file flags TrimRx.
Our editorial scores land close together: TrimRx 9.4 out of 10, labelled Outstanding, and HealthRx 9.1, labelled Excellent. Outside opinion is not comparable across the two, because TrimRx carried 3.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot when we observed it on 2026-09-11 and we hold no third-party rating for HealthRx on file at all. Read the one-sided picture with that in mind.

How We Compared HealthRx vs TrimRx

How we put this page together

Every price here is the floor on that brand's live weight-loss row in our database, which is the lowest configuration we were able to verify, and we print the date that row was last verified beside it. Where a plan length or a second tier is part of the price, we say so rather than quoting the headline alone.

Product details come from each brand's own published listing, which is why the compounded and brand-name tiers are described in the brand's own terms. Compounded status is stated wherever a compounded preparation is named.

Our scores out of 10 are ours. The Trustpilot figure is quoted with the platform that published it and the date we observed it. Where our file holds nothing, including the HealthRx verification check and the missing tirzepatide price, we say it is missing instead of estimating it.

Final Verdict: HealthRx vs TrimRx

The short version

On price, HealthRx wins the floor and the plan length is the catch worth reading twice. $99 a month is a twelve-month commitment and $133 a month is the three-month figure, against $179 a month at TrimRx. If you would rather not sign a year, the real gap is $46 a month, not $80.

On product, TrimRx is the one with a route to brand-name medication. Its listing names Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound and Wegovy alongside compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. We hold no price for any of the four, so treat that as an option to ask about rather than a number to budget.

On what we know about who you are dealing with, TrimRx is the better-documented of the two. We could not identify the company behind HealthRx, and that limits what our checks could cover. HealthRx answers part of that by displaying a LegitScript seal we checked with LegitScript on 2026-09-19. Weigh the $80 against how much that matters to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is HealthRx or TrimRx cheaper for a GLP-1?

HealthRx, at the floor. Its compounded GLP-1 starts at $99 a month on the twelve-month plan and $133 a month on three months, verified as of 2026-08-21. TrimRx starts at $179 a month for compounded semaglutide, verified the same day. Both are floors for the lowest configuration we could verify, not a quote for the plan you will be offered.

What do I pay at HealthRx if I do not want a twelve-month plan?

Its own listing gives $133 a month for three months. We hold no month-to-month figure for HealthRx, so if a shorter commitment matters to you, ask what it costs before you sign anything.

Can I get Wegovy or Zepbound itself through TrimRx?

TrimRx's listing names Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound and Wegovy as available alongside its compounded tiers. We hold no price for any of the four, and the $179 floor on this page is for compounded semaglutide, so expect a different number. In what we verified, HealthRx prices compounded medication only in weight loss.

Is compounded semaglutide the same as Wegovy?

No, and the difference is regulatory rather than marketing. Wegovy is an FDA-approved finished drug product. A compounded preparation is mixed by a pharmacy to fill a prescription and is not FDA-approved as a finished drug product, so the FDA has not reviewed that specific preparation for safety, effectiveness or quality. Ask the prescriber which one you are being sent.

Who operates HealthRx?

We could not establish that. On 2026-08-23 we looked for the legal entity behind the brand and found no operating company named on the site, a privacy-shielded domain registration, and no confirmed listing in the business registries and accreditation databases we checked. HealthRx does display LegitScript certification seal 50087439, which we checked with LegitScript on 2026-09-19.

How we scoreOur 1 to 10 brand scores are our own editorial judgment. They are not aggregated from third-party review platforms and they are not the output of a scoring formula.

What a starting price isA starting price is the lowest figure a company lists for a category, not a quote. What you pay follows a clinician's review of your intake, and where a required membership or care plan sits alongside the medication we publish the two charges combined.

Reading a warning letterA close-out letter is FDA's record that it has evaluated a company's corrective actions, so the absence of one means the file is not closed on the public record, and nothing more than that.

Verification limitationVerification note (checked August 23, 2026): we could not identify the legal entity behind HealthRx through public records. Its website does not name an operating company, its domain registration is privacy-shielded, and we could not confirm a listing in any business registry or accreditation database we checked. This is not a finding of wrongdoing. It means our usual checks, including our search of FDA enforcement records, could only be run against the brand name and domain rather than a confirmed company.

Regulatory noticeRegulatory note (verified October 8, 2026): On February 20, 2026 the FDA issued MEDVi, LLC a warning letter (MARCS-CMS 721455) citing misbranding under sections 502(a) and 502(bb) of the FD&C Act. Reviewing medvi.io in December 2025, the FDA said labels bearing "MEDVi" implied MEDVi compounds the drugs when it does not, and that site copy presenting the compounded drug as having the same active ingredient as Wegovy and Ozempic, and as Mounjaro and Zepbound, implied an FDA approval compounded drugs do not have. The letter adds that introducing or delivering the products it identifies into interstate commerce is a prohibited act under section 301(a), that receiving them in interstate commerce and delivering or offering to deliver them also violates section 301(c), and that a compounded drug product must meet the conditions of section 503A or 503B of the FD&C Act to be exempt from certain requirements, including the new drug approval requirements. When we checked FDA's warning letter index for MEDVi, LLC on October 8, 2026 it showed no response letter and no close-out letter entered against it, so the letter is not closed out on the public record. MEDVi states medvi.io is affiliate-operated rather than company-operated; we could not verify that, and the letter is addressed to MEDVi, LLC. Read the FDA letter
