Strut vs Fridays

Complete 2026 Comparison for Weight Loss

Weight Loss

Our Verdict

Strut runs five live categories, from $25 per month for hair loss as of 2026-07-22 to $99 per month for weight loss as of 2026-08-21. Fridays runs two: weight loss at $150 prepaid or $249 month-to-month as of 2026-09-12, and injectable testosterone at $129, a figure we hold with no verification date on file. They overlap only on weight loss, where Strut is cheaper and also carries an FDA warning letter citing misbranding about that exact line.

Pick Strut

You want several things handled in one place, or any of the four categories Fridays does not run: erectile dysfunction from $30 per month, hair loss from $25, premature ejaculation and women's health from $49 each, weight loss from $99, all with their own check dates. Read the FDA's warning letter to Strut Health, LLC, issued 2026-02-20, about the weight-loss line before you buy that one.

Pick Fridays

You want injectable testosterone, or a weight-loss plan from a company with nothing on the FDA warning letter record with us. Fridays publishes injectable testosterone at $129 per month with a Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp biomarker assessment included, a figure we hold with no verification date on file, plus compounded semaglutide at $150 prepaid or $249 month-to-month as of 2026-09-12.

Barely a head to head: five categories against two, overlapping only on weight loss. There Strut is cheaper, $99 per month as of 2026-08-21 against $150 prepaid or $249 month-to-month as of 2026-09-12, and there Strut also carries an FDA warning letter citing misbranding about that exact line. Injectable testosterone is on the Fridays side only.

Who This Is For

This is for
  • US adults with a BMI over 27 looking for prescription weight loss medication online.
  • You want to compare medication options, monthly costs, and state availability across multiple telehealth providers.
  • You prefer reviewing licensed provider programs independently before committing to a subscription.
  • If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, the Wegovy label directs you to stop semaglutide once pregnancy is recognized and two months before a planned pregnancy, so raise it at intake.
  • If you are breastfeeding, ask the provider what the label for the specific medication says, because the labels differ.
  • If you have a history of disordered eating, tell the provider at intake, because it is part of what a prescriber weighs before starting a weight loss medication.
  • If you have had bariatric surgery or are considering it, tell the provider at intake, because it changes what a prescriber will consider.
  • A remote visit cannot include a physical exam or in-office testing. If that matters for your situation, raise it with a licensed provider before choosing a platform.
  • If this is an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Telehealth is not for emergency care.

These notes are not a medical screening: a licensed provider decides after an intake review whether a treatment is appropriate for you.

Strut and Fridays: a five-category menu against a two-category one

Eric GoldWritten by Eric GoldEditor-in-Chief
10 min readUpdated October 7, 2026

Table of Contents

These two barely compete. Strut runs five live categories and Fridays two, and only one appears on both lists, so for most of what either sells there is no choice to make, just a door open or shut. Where they meet, on weight loss, Strut's floor is $99 a month against Fridays' $150 prepaid, and Strut has an FDA warning letter on its record about that exact line, which the agency's index still shows with no response letter and no close-out letter.

Five live categories against two, and they meet in exactly one place

Strut is live with us in five categories: erectile dysfunction, hair loss, premature ejaculation, weight loss and women's health. Fridays is live in two, testosterone replacement and weight loss.
Weight loss is the only entry on both lists, and the only place a dollar comparison here means anything. For the other five slots one company simply does not appear, and no feature grid makes that a contest.
So read this in two parts: the weight-loss section is a head to head, and the rest maps what exists on each side.
  • Strut: hair loss $25 as of 2026-07-22, erectile dysfunction $30 as of 2026-08-22
  • Strut: premature ejaculation and women's health $49 each, as of 2026-08-22
  • Strut: weight loss $99, as of 2026-08-21
  • Fridays: weight loss $150 prepaid or $249 month-to-month, as of 2026-09-12
  • Fridays: testosterone $129, no verification date on file

The weight-loss figures, and the condition attached to one of them

Strut's weight-loss label is $99 per month, verified on 2026-08-21, for compounded injectable semaglutide prescribed by US-licensed physicians, with a free online doctor visit, free follow-up care and free shipping.
Fridays publishes two figures for the comparable purchase: compounded semaglutide at $150 per month prepaid and $249 per month month-to-month, verified on 2026-09-12, with compounded tirzepatide at $240 prepaid and $359 month-to-month on the same date.
That puts Strut's floor $51 below the Fridays prepaid figure and $150 below its month-to-month one. Strut is the cheaper entry point either way, and the gap roughly triples if you will not prepay.
Two caveats. The checks are 22 days apart, and GLP-1 pricing has moved faster than three weeks in this market. And every figure is a floor rather than a quote. Both routes are compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products: the FDA has not reviewed them for safety, quality or effectiveness.

Strut has an FDA warning letter about the exact product line priced above

The FDA reviewed struthealth.com in December 2025 and, on 2026-02-20, issued Strut Health, LLC a warning letter citing misbranding, MARCS-CMS 721448, under sections 502(a) and 502(bb) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. It raises two issues.
The first is labelling: pictured product labels carried the Strut name, which the agency said represents Strut as the compounder of the semaglutide and tirzepatide products when it is not. The second is three claims on the site, which the agency read as presenting its compounded products as generics of named brand-name GLP-1 medications and as asserting an equivalence of active ingredient with them. A compounded drug holds no FDA approval, and the agency said such wording implies one.
We searched FDA's warning letter index for Strut Health, LLC on 2026-10-07: the entry for MARCS-CMS 721448 listed no response letter and no close-out letter. It is published at https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/strut-health-llc-dba-strut-721448-02202026, and reading it beats relying on our summary.
Scope matters, and it cuts against us. The letter concerns the compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide line, the product whose $99 figure sits above, and not the hair-loss, erectile-dysfunction, premature-ejaculation or women's-health lines. A $51 price advantage is not an answer to a federal warning letter.
Our Fridays file holds no FDA warning letter. The absence of a record in our data is not a clearance.

One molecule, filed under a different category at each company

Ask whether these two offer enclomiphene and the answer is yes on both sides, which tells you little, because they file it under different categories.
At Strut it sits inside the erectile-dysfunction line, as Strut Mojo, an oral enclomiphene and tadalafil combination recorded in our file as compounded and not FDA-approved. That category's floor is $30 per month as of 2026-08-22 for generic tadalafil and sildenafil, described in its feature list as FDA-approved generics prescribed online by US-licensed physicians, with compounded Super Strut from $79.
At Fridays it sits inside testosterone replacement: enclomiphene daily capsules from $169 per month, the route for anyone avoiding injections. Our record does not state whether that capsule is compounded or what its approval status is. That is a gap in our file rather than a finding about Fridays, and worth putting to the company before you pay.

Injectable testosterone exists on one side of this page only

Fridays publishes injectable testosterone at $129 per month. We hold that figure with no verification date on file, which makes it the least solid number here, so we attach no date. Its feature list says a biomarker assessment through Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp is included at no extra charge, that licensed US clinicians review your lab results before a plan is written, and that shipping is free.
Strut runs no testosterone category with us. Inside its erectile-dysfunction product it does offer an optional at-home test kit measuring testosterone, DHEA-S, estradiol, cortisol and SHBG. That is a measurement, not a treatment plan.
So if injectable testosterone brought you here, Fridays is the only side standing. Confirm the $129 at the source, since we cannot date it for you.

What Strut's other four lines cost, and what is approved inside them

Hair loss is Strut's cheapest entry at $25 per month as of 2026-07-22. Its feature list names FDA-approved finasteride 1mg tablets, approved for male pattern hair loss, then several things that are not: HairfectRx capsules and topicals combining finasteride or dutasteride with minoxidil, and custom dutasteride capsules, all compounded. It also lists oral minoxidil off-label, worth spelling out because minoxidil tablets hold FDA approval for hypertension that other drugs have not controlled, not for hair loss.
Premature ejaculation is $49 per month as of 2026-08-22, for ParoxetineMax, a compounded paroxetine with sildenafil or tadalafil. Women's health is also $49 as of the same date, for Strut O Cream, a compounded sildenafil cream for arousal support that our record states is not FDA-approved.
Fridays appears on none of those lists, so there is no comparison to draw.

A 9.4 from us, with no third-party rating to set against it

Our editorial score puts Strut at 9.4 out of 10 and Fridays at 9.2, both labelled Outstanding. Those are ours, and two-tenths of a point should not move a decision.
For Fridays there is an outside number: Trustpilot showed 4.2 when we observed it on 2026-09-11. For Strut we hold no third-party rating at all, so there is nothing to set beside it, and we will not quote one we do not have.
Which leaves four facts about Strut side by side, unresolved: the broadest menu here, the cheaper shared-category figure, our higher score in this pair, and an FDA warning letter about its weight-loss line.

How We Compared Strut vs Fridays

How we put this page together

Source. Our own live record for Strut and Fridays, read on 2026-10-07. Where the record is empty we say so instead of filling it.

Prices. Every figure is a floor, the cheapest configuration we could verify, carrying its own check date: Strut hair loss 2026-07-22, weight loss 2026-08-21, its other three categories 2026-08-22, Fridays weight loss 2026-09-12. Fridays' $129 injectable testosterone figure has no verification date in our file, so we attach none. The $51 and $150 gaps are subtraction between two published figures, and we publish no averages or annualised totals.

Approval status. Compounded products are named as compounded, and off-label use is given with the approved indication and population.

The warning letter. Reported from the agency's published letter with the fda.gov permalink, paraphrasing the marketing language it quoted rather than reprinting it.

Deliberately absent. No efficacy figures, no dosing guidance, no list of who a medication is or is not for.

Fridays' own listing carries a second, lower semaglutide figure of $117 a month alongside a promotional offer with discount codes, and it is published without a verification date. The figures we quote for Fridays are the dated ones from its price listing, verified on 2026-09-12. If you see $117 advertised, that is the annual-plan price with discount code NYNY12 applied, which we confirmed on joinfridays.com on 2026-10-08. The $150 we quote is the annual-plan price with no code, and a code-conditioned price can be withdrawn at any time.

Final Verdict: Strut vs Fridays

Where this lands

Mostly these two are not rivals. Five live categories against two, overlapping in one. For hair loss, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation or women's health, Strut is the only side selling anything. For injectable testosterone, Fridays is.

In the one shared category, Strut is cheaper and carries the heavier file. $99 per month as of 2026-08-21 against $150 prepaid or $249 month-to-month as of 2026-09-12. And Strut has an FDA warning letter on its record, linked in full above, which is about the compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide line, the line $99 buys. We will not resolve that trade for you, and we will not let the price advantage bury it.

Both weight-loss routes here are compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products: the FDA has not reviewed them for safety, quality or effectiveness. Check both prices at the source, and take the medical decision to a licensed clinician.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Strut or Fridays cheaper for weight loss?

Strut, on both comparisons. Its label is $99 per month as of 2026-08-21. Fridays is $150 prepaid and $249 month-to-month as of 2026-09-12, so Strut sits $51 and $150 below. All are floors, the lowest dated figure our record holds for that brand and category, rather than quotes.

What is the FDA warning letter against Strut about?

The FDA reviewed struthealth.com in December 2025 and, on 2026-02-20, issued Strut Health, LLC a warning letter citing misbranding under sections 502(a) and 502(bb) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Pictured product labels carried the Strut name, which the agency said represents Strut as the compounder of the semaglutide and tirzepatide products when it is not, and three site claims were read as presenting its compounded products as generics of named brand-name GLP-1 medications. Its MARCS-CMS number and our check of the warning letter index are given in the section above.

Does the Strut letter affect its hair loss or ED treatment?

The letter concerns Strut's compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide line, which is its weight-loss offering, and does not address the hair-loss, erectile-dysfunction, premature-ejaculation or women's-health lines. It is still worth reading first, because it is about how the company described a product.

Is the compounded semaglutide Strut prescribes FDA approved?

No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products: the FDA has not reviewed them for safety, quality or effectiveness. Strut's feature list describes compounded injectable semaglutide, and the warning letter above turns in part on this point.

Does Fridays treat hair loss or erectile dysfunction?

No. Fridays is live with us in two categories only, testosterone replacement and weight loss. For the other four, Strut is the only side of this comparison selling anything.

Can I get testosterone injections from Strut?

No, because Strut runs no testosterone category with us. Its erectile-dysfunction product does include an optional at-home test kit measuring testosterone, DHEA-S, estradiol, cortisol and SHBG, which measures rather than treats. Fridays publishes injectable testosterone at $129 per month, with no verification date on file.

What does the $25 Strut hair loss price cover?

Its label is $25 per month as of 2026-07-22, and its feature list names FDA-approved finasteride 1mg tablets, approved for male pattern hair loss. Other items on that list are compounded or off-label: HairfectRx and custom dutasteride capsules are compounded, and oral minoxidil is off-label, since minoxidil tablets hold FDA approval for hypertension that other drugs have not controlled, not for hair loss.

What rating does Strut have?

We hold no third-party rating for Strut, so we will not quote one. Our own editorial score is 9.4 out of 10, labelled Outstanding, which is our assessment and not an outside measure. For Fridays, Trustpilot showed 4.2 when we observed it on 2026-09-11.

How we scoreOur 1 to 10 brand scores are our own editorial judgment. They are not aggregated from third-party review platforms and they are not the output of a scoring formula.

What a starting price isA starting price is the lowest figure a company lists for a category, not a quote. What you pay follows a clinician's review of your intake, and where a required membership or care plan sits alongside the medication we publish the two charges combined.

Reading a warning letterA close-out letter is FDA's record that it has evaluated a company's corrective actions, so the absence of one means the file is not closed on the public record, and nothing more than that.

Regulatory noticeRegulatory note (verified October 8, 2026): The FDA reviewed struthealth.com in December 2025 and, on February 20, 2026, issued Strut Health, LLC a warning letter, MARCS-CMS 721448. It raises two separate problems. Pictured product labels carry the "Strut" name, which the agency said represents Strut as the compounder of the semaglutide and tirzepatide products when it is not. The letter also quotes three claims from the site, among them "Generic Zepbound, Mounjaro", along with site copy naming semaglutide and tirzepatide as the active ingredient in the brand medications. Because compounded drugs hold no FDA approval, the FDA said wording of that kind implies one, and it cited misbranding under sections 502(a) and 502(bb) of the FD&C Act. The letter adds that introducing or delivering the products it identifies into interstate commerce is a prohibited act under section 301(a), that receiving them in interstate commerce and delivering or offering to deliver them also violates section 301(c), and that a compounded drug product must meet the conditions of section 503A or 503B of the FD&C Act to be exempt from certain requirements, including the new drug approval requirements. When we checked FDA's warning letter index for Strut Health, LLC on October 8, 2026 it showed no response letter and no close-out letter, so we treat the matter as open. Read the FDA letter

Regulatory noticeRegulatory note (verified October 8, 2026): On February 20, 2026 the FDA issued MEDVi, LLC a warning letter (MARCS-CMS 721455) citing misbranding under sections 502(a) and 502(bb) of the FD&C Act. Reviewing medvi.io in December 2025, the FDA said labels bearing "MEDVi" implied MEDVi compounds the drugs when it does not, and that site copy presenting the compounded drug as having the same active ingredient as Wegovy and Ozempic, and as Mounjaro and Zepbound, implied an FDA approval compounded drugs do not have. When we checked FDA's warning letter index for MEDVi, LLC on October 8, 2026 it showed no response letter and no close-out letter entered against it, so the letter is not closed out on the public record. MEDVi states medvi.io is affiliate-operated rather than company-operated; we could not verify that, and the letter is addressed to MEDVi, LLC. Read the FDA letter
